The experience
For two months, I had the opportunity to work on the production of a back-office for a 3D software called "Cabmaker", which focuses on furniture production.
I learned many things, including:
- PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and SQL.
- Complex SQL database queries from PHP scripts.
- Asynchronous calls to local and remote scripts, using AJAX (in JavaScript) or cURL (in PHP).
- The use of authentication, authorization, and encryption for safety.
- The use of many plug-ins, including "sweet alert 2", "datatables", and "jquery".
Overall, this internship taught me how to make a high-quality website, from the backend, with expandable structures, safety, and data-retrieving, to the front end, with plugins helping with animations, graphs, and more.
